Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Objective

A candidate can get admission in this programme after 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline. After completion of this course, a student can do Master's degree in Computer Science / IT, like Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or Master of Science (Computer Science).

After completing this course, a student can get the job of programmer, analyst, web site developer etc. in both government and private sectors.

Eligibility

A candidate seeking admission to BCA programme should be 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline.

Course fee

Rs.10,000/-per semester inclusive of exam fees. In addition Rs.500/- will be charged as one time registration fee. 

Duration

It is a three years programme comprising six semesters but the student will have to complete this programme within a maximum period of six years.

Mode of Imparting Learning

Theory & Practical classes of 180 hours will be held at the study centres. Study material in Self-Instructional Module (SIM) will be provided to the students along with CD containing full contents of the course at the concerned study centre. The medium of instruction will be English only.
